working with water

Water flows, downstream, and uninhibited. It is intelligent and sensual, knowing the way in which it wishes to move, taking the path of least resistance.

One can carve a path for water, but over time it will find the way it wishes to flow, creating a passage that may seem to a human mind to be illogical, irrational, and maybe the long way round. But it knows what is best for itself.

By placing objects close to the source of water flow, the butterfly effect will create a multiple cross ripple effect that will multiply and increase downstream, transmitting messages through the ultimate passage of the water, until it reaches the ocean.

In this way it is possible to transmit prayers and wishes, from a single source, carried through the living entity of water, to conjoin with all the world's living waters. One stone, carefully placed, will create an infinite resonance, into the subtle world, forever multiplying and expanding.

a snow time experience

Whilst walking through a snowstorm, atop a remote hill, it occured to me that each individual snowflake, though identical in form, held a unique expression. I wondered about that unique expression in terms of sound, pondering what a snowflake might sound like, the cymatic expression upon nature.

I considered the individual sound, and also the multitude of sounds within the choir of the snowstorm, asking myself 'what is the sound of a snowstorm?'

I was inspired to experiment with geometric forms, in a manner which held an immediacy of an experience, attempting to express an inner resonance by means of the mandala form.

Over the past few years I have created hundreds of designs, seeking to express multitudes of feelings, thoughts and abstract conceptions, thereby creating a visual language which might represent the dissolution of taught empiricism, seeking to develop a language whereby the intellect might be bypassed and a means of direct subtle communciation could be initiated.

I continue to develop and experiment with this vision, communicating with researchers, artists, healers and scientists, seeking to refine and learn a more accurate and profound means of expression, ultimately seeking to access a healing paradigm based upon visual phototransduction - the alchemy of transmuting colour and light into feelings...

a test run, in bare feet, through the woods...

Just to see, how it looks, and makes me feel...

Yeah, that is me, after a playtime in the woods...

Testing, testing, 1 2 3
